A pk fld trivia quiz

Grado

Off Meddle……..for decades it puzzled one.
12 words spoken, indecipherable, masked
with a change in speed, but lyrics just the same.

What does the voice say?

It's not easy to hear but I always heard it as "one of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces"

Now why they are saying it... that's a different trivia question.

Great, great song.

That song is a masterpiece and Gilmour's lap steel playing is incredible.

Walter, I think you are correct on the lyrics. That's what it sounds like to me as well but why he says it is a good question.

This post was updated on .
Bout wore that album out tryin to figure it ou.
And never did.
Wasn’t till maybe last year I googled it.

Hats off to you guys.

When I finally did research it…………..
It’s the first time Nick Mason did any vocal
on a record.

Apparently, early 70s they were into a lot of stuff, off the wall videos, film, they edited a lot of stuff themselves.
Well, there was this nasal toned DJ in the UK
that was very, very overbearing.
They really did not like the guy.
So, they started recording him, and putting little grabs in these films.

Whenever they needed a jerk or a hole a lot of times the pulled his voice.

It was at one of these sessions Nick was cutting tape, splicing it together, where he kind of lost it, doing this DJ.
and yelled,  “ONE OF THESE DAYS IM GONNA CUT YOU INTO LITTLE PIECES!!!”.😀
